In 2013 she completed residency training at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri with a specialty in Osteopathy and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
Since 2013 she has been in private practice in northern Arizona. Throughout that time she has tirelessly worked to complement her conventional medical training with re-education in natural medicine, functional and integrative medicine and longevity medicine, biophysics, and regenerative injection therapies. She has also continued her studies in Biodynamic cranial osteopathy, and treats all of her local patients
osteopathically.
Dr. Burgoon was steeped in alternative medicine and nutrition since childhood. She was fortunate to have a country upbringing in a Steiner community surrounded by biodynamic organic agriculture, anthroposophical medicine, nutrition, chiropractic, and
anthroposophical spirituality. Dr. Burgoon carried this alternative understanding of health throughout her medical training and continues to refine and update her study while in private practice.
She is distinguished by her passion for continuously learning new information, her equal passion for teaching her patients to apply life-changing new perspectives, and her attention to detail in understanding every patient’s health as a unique individual mystery to solve.
